First we watched Mystery Science and Doug looked to see if worms really eat dirt and kill plants or do they help the plants. It turns out that they actually help the plants.
Then we looked at the worms and we saw that they actually make fertilizer to help the plant grow better. We found out that it was fun to investigate problems and worms.

Today we went to Science Lab with Ms. Brodsley. We learned about producers and how they have seeds. We observed the seeds of cucumbers, strawberries, and apples. We used toothpicks to get the seeds out.
Cucumber seeds are slimy and kind of clear. Strawberry seeds are very tiny. We used magnifying glasses to look at them more closely. Apple seeds are brown, hard, and smooth.
