Bunnies!  Are Carrots really bad for Bunnies?

You might have known bunnies for eating carrots and lots of them. They are popular for eating it, and bears are known as carnivores meaning they eat animals which are their prey, and eat meat.

I hate to break it to you, but carrots aren’t so great for bunnies after all. Carrots are vegetables, and everyone knows they are good for you. They are high in nutrients, and are also pretty sweet. That means they also carry high levels of sugar. Too much carrots aren’t good for the bunnies. They can cause teeth cavities, and other health problems. And in the wild, bunnies don’t often dig up roots from the ground either. They usually eat grass and nibble on them as their daily diet.

Sometimes bunnies are the prey of bears. Yes, a lot of people think it is gruesome. But that is not all of the truth!

What are the diets of bears? DO they really only eat meat?

You might have watched videos about bears eating salmon, birds, and bunnies. Bears are the predator, and they are the prey. Is this really all of the bear’s diets?
These animals are part of the bear's diet. Now, not all the time. Bears can also eat dandelions, huckleberries, strawberries, and blueberries. Plants are also important to the bear's diet. The things that bears eat, vary or accord to the season it is. For example, Grizzly Bears are a type of brown bear. Grizzly’s can snack on a specific type of moth, called “Army Cutworm Moths”.
Bears in Yellowstone National Park like to sniff around to find a stash of a red squirrel’s pine nuts.
Bears don’t only eat nuts, or berries that are found in the wild. They can also eat fungi, mosses, or different types of mushrooms. Bears will not hunt prey down all the time, bear’s aren’t picky eaters.
Bears could also eat loads of clams. When the tide is right on the shore, bears dig up sand and find clams to snack on. In the winter, bears also eat loads of food to survive the winter. They go into hibernation. This means they go to sleep in their den for a long period of time until spring arrives.
Well, the bear’s diet is quite… VAST.
