Hurricane!
By Miss Bilovsky's Class
TTO: Spiderman theme by Webster and Harris

My Paper (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle)
By Miss Bilovsky's Class
TTO: My Shot by Lin-Manuel Miranda

Way down South, where it's warm
There's a rotating tropic storm
Moving West across the sea
Getting closer to you and me
Look out, here comes a hurricane

Growing with solar power
Blowing 74 miles per hour
It may get even faster
Causing a natural disaster
Look out, here comes a hurricane

Meteorologists at the NOAA
Minimize the risk, warn is "Get out of the way!"

Pack your things, don't you wait
when it's time to evacuate
When it hits, it's okay
You'll already be far away

And when the storm causes mass destruction
Then comes the reconstruction
After the hurricane!
I am not throwing away my paper, I am not throwing away my paper.
You know I'm not gonna try to reduce, reuse, recycle
And I'm not throwing away my paper!

Paper's made of trees and we need more of these
So we got to reduce the use of paper please
We're doing our assignments on electronic screens
'Cause it's best when we use less and keep the forest green

When you use paper you should choose
To do your job and when you're through, reuse
We'd be gratified if you decide
To flip the paper over, then you write on the other side

When you're done with a paper don't throw it away
There's a place to remake if for another day
The blue bin is the one we like
To put the paper in for the win, we recycle!

But I'm not throwing away my paper, I am not throwing away my paper
You know I'm gonna try to reduce, reuse, recycle
And I'm not throwing away my, not throwing away my,
Not throwing away my paper!

Mr. Griffin from Griffin Ed will be coming into the classroom and helping the students become better writers by learning how to write songs.
It was decided by the class today that the song will be about hurricanes.

Write something about yourself. No need to be fancy, just an overview.
